Vasaefion

The rain poured down like it never had since the last war. The scouts had lived through the last war and knew what was coming. The squirrel council had to be alerted of the pending danger, and to assemble the troops on the edge of the shadow clan territory. The council were summoned; Ultima, Geneso, Mahkakai, Siesti, Ranfador, Dosrolu, Iyaiel, Yestev, Oto, and Cil.  After a lengthy discussion the squirrels prepared the troops to repel the humans once and for.
The next morning...
The humans had gathered at the edge of the fire clan’s territory but what the humans didn’t know was that the ants had recently allied with the squirrels the humans were ambushed by the ants. As the humans were being burned alive by the fire clan, shot and bombarded by the ants they screamed for their loved ones while spraying pesticides into the air. We were all writhing in pain fighting for our lives, our home, our families. “You shall not harm our kind again humans!” boomed ultima “your kind were never welcome on this planet leave while you can still breathe the foxes have captured you capital city you have no general to lead you!”
The gas clan choked the humans with carbon dioxide, carbon trioxide, carbon quadoxide and carbon tetroxide this was a fatal mistake the human sergeant’s last movement detonated a nuclear weapon. The entire forest was flattened everything died instantaneously nothing survived not even the ants the fire clan of the squirrels dwindled to less than 1%. The fire clan leader ultima was dead and all of his family except his daughter liana. She was now in charge of the remaining 50 squirrels. All around it was quite there was nothing where the fire clan territory used to be the remaining 50 were safe in the ants’s capital.
Thu humans were being butchered by the foxes mercilessly because 5 years earlier the humans launched a campaign to exterminate the foxes off the face of Vasaefion so that they could mine it dry for their foul kind. The female humans threw themselves in front of their children though it did no good the foxes were being driven... by revenge! It was not in the nature of the foxes to be forgiving especially when the humans slaughtered their children.
Vixa (queen on the foxes) arrived in the last building with a human presence on the planet it was early in the evening and a flash of light made her look round to see the innocent look in a human child’s eyes she couldn’t kill him it wasn’t in her to take the life of a poor defenceless child no matter what their race had did to hers she wasn’t going to kill the human or leave it to die she would keep it and return it to the humans as a peace offering.

She picked it up by the scruff of the neck and took him to the high council tree at the centre of the planet. Vixa didn’t know if humans could survive teleporters, but she couldn’t spend days running there the human would starve she had to keep it alive at least until she made peace with the humans.
Later that night...
“No!” the squirrel council roared with outrage we shall not keep this filth it’s has almost wiped us out again and again this time we shall finish them. Alvius The grand over lord master eagle entered the room (he was the wisest of the creatures on the planet) i agree with vixa she is right maybe we could reach an agreement with the human leader of Pluto.  There was a loud noise coming from the child on the table. The ants were furiated by this how “how dare it mock the council. We have shown it mercy by letting it live t-“
“SILENCE!!!! we shall take a vote COUNCIL MEMBERS ONLY”
the eagles agreed with the foxes that the human should live
While the squirrels still continued to loathe the child on the table, and the ants could not reach an agreement.
It is settled we shall keep the human but what does it eat?
Meanwhile...
The technology clan was working on an inter-galactic warp travel ship to reach earth in under a week even though they were light years apart. The ship needed to be 2 miles across to house all food and water with emergency supplies weapons living space and a control centre with a computer with enough processing power to run the programs needed to keep such a massive ship functioning and to get back home again.
Vixa took the human to her burrow layer it dawn on a thick layer of grass and covered him with a whole palm pine leaf which was far too big even for her. She stroked the child’s head and the human managed a smile. Vixa didn’t sleep that night she seemed to have bonded well with the child in the day she spent with it.
The human started crying again she didn’t know what to do but then she saw that the light green leaf had turned slightly yellow so she picked the child up and put him in the river and she noticed the human was a boy. A thought flashed through her mind. What should she name him? Could he talk or even understand if i named him? The human splashed me, i smile he giggled and continued kicking and splashing in the water it was as if he never met his human parents he had blue eyes like mine and very dark hair. But he didn’t seem to notice i was a fox and he was a human maybe this human was different from the rest.

I tuck him out of the water and back to the burrow then i put an apple in front of him, he just stared at it blankly as if he didn’t know what food was i pushed it towards him but he still did nothing maybe he needed feeding just like our children. I bit a chunk off and placed it in his tiny hand, then he said moma he actually thought i was his mother. He put the apples in his mouth and seemed to enjoy it. Baby humans ate apples so i bit off more chunks of apple and pushed them towards him he ate the whole apple in under 5 minutes. Then i thought how much do these humans eat. I wanted to keep him but i had to take him home to his kind where he belongs.
“I will name him char!”
